A blend of the words "strategy" and "trade." It refers to a financial transaction, market position, or trading move executed purely based on a strict, predetermined plan or algorithm rather than emotion or instinct.

Example:"Instead of panic-selling when the market dipped, I stuck to my system and executed a disciplined trate.""If you want to survive crypto volatility, you need to stop gambling and start making trates."
