Techsplaining

When a user in an online tech support forum, especially on reddit, responds to a specific technical question with unsolicited hardware/software advice, personal endorsements of unrelated technology, unrelated tangents, or put-downs about the asker's use of technology or level of technical ability. Portmanteau of "technology" and "mansplaining".
User 1: "I have a Windows 7 PC that keeps freezing every time I start a certain program. Can anyone help me figure out why it's doing this?"
User 2: "Bro wtf, why are you still using Windows 7? Are you a complete moron? Just upgrade to Windows 11 already. It's so much better. If your computer still runs Windows 7, you're living in the fucking dark ages. Get a laptop with a Ryzen CPU and at least 32GB of RAM. It's better for gaming and really worth the price."
User 1: "Thank you for techsplaining. Are you going to answer my question or not?"

Words you can keep

Teensplaining

When a teen condescendingly assumes that they know more about a topic than the adults around them, usually their parents. The teen then explains the topic to the adult as if the adult is completely ignorant regardless of their experience or expertise. This is frequently accompanied by the extreme certainty that can only be maintained through inexperience.
Maya was teensplaining to me that intelligence is about 75% heritable.
"You'd know that if you weren't such an idiot, Dad!"

My daughter teensplained pop music to me, as if I hadn't lived through the 80s.

Similar to mansplaining but with a teenager who firmly believes he/she/they know everything, and are therefore obligated to explain it to you. Often accompanied with an eye roll followed by stomping and a door slam.
(Mom and Teenager watching Home Alone)
Teen: Mom, wait until you see what happens when the power goes out.

Mom: You mean when their phone lines are down?
Teen: Did know that phones went down back then?
Mom: Yes.
Teen: Well, it was because there weren't cell phones and they had phone calls go through wires.

Mom: I know. I was a kid at the time.

Teen: But this is different, Mom. You just don't understand! (Eye roll / stomp away)
Mom: I cannot believe he just teensplaining me about something I experienced 30 years before he existed! How does he think she automatically knows more than me and has to explain it?

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
