To “sugar pill” is to gaslight somebody. Used like red pill, pink pill, black pill, etc.

Taking the sugar pill means somebody believed something that was false.

Sugar Pill Sunday

The day when a girl taking birth control pills switches from the active pill to the placebo sugar pill. This normally occurs on Sunday because of how the pills are labeled. This can serve as a helpful warning for people to be careful around the taker of the sugar pill.
