Stepford

An upper-class town or suburb populated by materialistic people; the men are souless strivers and the women who are automatons.

The fictional town of Stepford, Connecticut actually is Darien, Connecticut, so-called by Ira Levin in his novel "The Stepford Wives" as it is near [Stamford, Connecticut, thus: a "Step" from Stam-"ford." Darien is the home of many rich executives and professionals who commute to New York City.

Stepford Wife 

1.) Used to describe a servile, compliant, submissive, spineless wife who happily does her husband's bidding and serves his every whim dutifully.

2.) Can also be used to describe a wife who is cookie-cutter & bland in appearance and behavior. Subscribes to a popular look and dares not deviate from that look.

This term is borrowed from the fictional suburb of Stepford, Connecticut in Ira Levin's 1972 novel, The Stepford Wives, later made into movies (in 1975 and 2004). In the story, men of this seemingly ideal town have replaced their wives with attractive robotic dolls devoid of emotion or thought.

1.) She's such a stepford wife, I've seen her greet her husband at the door after work with a beer and a kiss 4 days in a row!

2.) I just got back from the pta meeting, I've never seen so many stepford wives.

Stepford County Railway

A game on Roblox that actually has underrated gameplay and very good trains. Despite this, it is ruined by under 13 fanboys and the actual management of the game. The YT community of it mostly posts sneak peek videos and fact video just for views and popularity and don't care, and only a small amount of them actually post good content.

tl:dr: A Roblox trainsim with underrated gameplay but a crappy community and management.

Have you played Stepford County Railway? It's good!
I don't really play it too often, it's too toxic there, especially in #general compared to #guard-lounge.

A gay couple who are nice, sexless and nonthreatening. Typically they live in the suburbs, have an immaculate house and yard and don't scare the neighbors while they are in fact just as much a slave to heterosexual establishment as everyone else.
