Use of the word "SpaHa" reflects the continuing gentrification of the Spanish Harlem area and is often quoted by realtors to entice renters and buyers to look north of 96th st. While the name sounds cool, SpaHa is still known for its loud Latin music, dollar stores, taco carts, and a crazy lady named Nancy who screams in Spanish at the top of her lungs daily at 4am.
