The masochistic extreme of life, where the body and mind are pushed until their limits are reached, and the body is barely able to support the mind. Then, once your extremes are reached, you push as far beyond that point as you can, far beyond normal notions of all-nighters and caffeine diets.

A sport in which somebody dies as a part of the game. Points are either scored by some bodies' death or there is a high chance of death by competitors. The concept originates from films like "Rollerball" (An awesome '70s film that had a god awful remake) and "Death Race 2000" (Another awesome '70s film with a god awful remake currently in development) Often associated with dystopian futures and fascist governments.

If reality television continues to get anymore exploitive, we'll be watching death sports on TV.

Eurovision slang referring to the second place on the contest's running order. Participants competing on this spot are likely to go unnoticed by the public, hence making it improbable for them to qualify (from a semi-final) or win.

Austria was the last country to qualify for the final from the death spot, and that was six years ago.

God saved us from the death spot this year, we may have a chance this time!
