Smolka's Postulate

There is a fundamental connection between technology, physical reality and nature. And the parallels between technology and nature are astounding.

Smolka's Postulate reveals that cars have systems that match that of animals; ie: gas tank - stomach, catalytic converter - liver, carburetor - lungs and so on. A computer hard drive needs to defrag every so often, like a mind needs to dream(believing that doing so consolidates information in the brain).

Snold

Old Snoop Dogg

The term originates from a relatively obscure image of the rapper Snoop Dogg in which he has been edited to appear older. Text on the image labels him to be "Snold".

"Snold" is a mixture of the words "Snoop" and "Old".

"Have you seen that picture of Snold?"

"Man, Snoop Dogg doesn't age! He'll never get Snold."

Snooker Kick

One of the great phenomena of snooker. The kick is where either the cue ball or the object ball literally jumps in the air slightly after receiving contact from the cue or the cue ball respectively. The effect is nearly always negative for the striker, as the angle on either ball is disturbed and contact is rarely clean. Many attempts have been made to explain why kicks occur, the most frequent explanations being friction from the table surface and, more commonly, a bit of dust or chalk on either ball when there is contact. A lot of research has been carried in the study of Nihilosophy for the British Snooker Organisations.

I could have won the match if it hadn't been for that 'snooker kick' I got when attempting to pot an easy Blue into the corner pocket.
