slopcop

A self-appointed online enforcer who patrols art, writing, music, or code for supposed signs of “AI slop” and publicly accuses creators of using generative AI with little or no evidence. A slopcop is defined not by criticizing AI, but by treating suspicion, vibes, minor imperfections, or unreliable detection tools as proof, often provoking a digital witch hunt against the accused creator.

The illustrator posted her sketches, layers, and complete timelapse, but a slopcop still accused her of using AI because one finger looked strange.
