Shmernered

S-H-M-E-R-N-E-R-E-D, Shmernered is like this um, in between emotions. It’s like that stunned look like 😳 and you haven’t yet figured out what you’re looking at.

Sometimes when bellas friend Max comes over she’ll be just like

Bella: “Okay, what do you want? Why are you on my turf? Okay, let’s play!”
ThatVeganTeacher: She’s shmernered when max comes over, she doesn’t know what’s going on.

Shmernered

Shmernered was created by the Diekmeyer family kids in Chateauguay, Quebec, Canada in 1973 when the were attempting to describe the facial expressions of someone displayed in a cartoon.

A shmernered person lacks facial expression, is in-between emotions and either in disbelief of what’s happening or displaying a somewhat bored, neutral look or hypnotic look.

Shmernered, Ferris Bueller’s teacher looks like he wishes he was anywhere else in the universe as he takes attendance in front of a class of completely uninspired, half-asleep students.
