Haile Selassie

The last Emperor of Ethiopia who reigned until 1974. The name Haile Selassie means "Might of the Trinity" and was the name he assumed on becoming Emperor, having previously been known as Ras (Duke) Tafari Makonen.

Selassie, who was a faithful member of the Orthodox Church, is believed by most Rastafarians to be God incarnate (something he himself denied). Some believe he is the second coming of Christ (God the Son), others the incarnation of God the Father and some say he was the incarnation of both. Others simply believe he was a good man, chosen to lead people to faith in God.

Haile Selassie is the King of Kings and the Lion of Judah.

A name given to a strong femine. It means the power of the Holy trinity, it means beautiful, it means amazing. It is quite different from "Selasie".
Selassie's are the prettiest girls around and if you have one selassie you have five people in one human being. She is a power pack full of sweetness but in the end you wouldn't take her for granted because she has a "don't mess with me side" you don't want to see.

1. A trend of the modern era 2007+ that refers to the transitional stage that year 9 students go through as they move from the 'being part of the group' stage to 'there is no one else in the "youniverse" stage.
2. A term to describe 15 year olds who, for some strange reason, cannot hear another persons voice.

I left the class room with half my students, the selfabsorbs however, didn't realize we had left for over half an hour.
