1.) Something so foul and horrific that no man in sight would dare approach it.

2.) The fullest degree of ugly.

Example 1.) Did you see the face on that chick? She looks absolutely petrocious! Gross!

Example 2.) (Guy 1): Hey, you've got to quit scratching your balls in public man. Thats pretty petrocious. (Guy 2): Sorry, but they are itchy.

It can mean various things. It dependens on how you use it in a sentence. You can use it in negative term or positive term. Negative term- awful, terrible, not a good situation to be in. Positive term- awesome, happy at what just happened, someone achiving something that you like.

Negative term- The weather today is so patrocious, i am going to need three goddamn jackets.
Positive term- Damn, that blunt is so patrocious.
