Some days, as few as 08% of UD's submissions get approved by the editors and published; other days, may be as high as 96%. So the number of those pub'd varies greatly.

pub dust is the change (money) you are left with after a night out in a pub or club

often when people are in a busy pub and are waiting for a long time to be served at the bar, by the time it comes to their turn they cant be bothered finding the correct change, so hand over notes, leaving them with lots of pub dust (change)
