positosis

The next level up from,” it's all good”. positosis is the new word, da fresh lingo for positivity, an outlook on life that gets you to focus on the positive first.

We, positosis players, don't just survive, we thrive with da positosis mindset that says we good, even if it's not all good, and when and if it all gets janky, we get on up into the jetstream of positosis, fly above the radar, floating like a butterfly, rising to the top, raining double doses of positosis and positive vibes on da peoples.
My positosis mindset gets me into the game of, into the positosis flow of life.

We, the positosis players, radiate those good vibes, keep it 100.

When others be talking noise, getting out of their game. losing their rhythm,

We focus first on positosis, and through osmosis, transform everything into something dope, super fresh, and be dropping positive dimes.

Beyond any doubt, Positosis is the mostest baby.

Positivising

That new <halfway decent pop band> song is really positivising. It makes me want to increase my fiscal output by 15% per annum!

Mike is infectiously positivising: just being around him is motivational.

logical positivism

Something really stupid and anoying they make you learn in Communication Studies graduate programs even though you're a rhetorician and couldn't really give a rat's ass.
Logical positivism asserts that only statements about empirical observations are meaningful, effectively asserting that all metaphysical statements are meaningless. Unfortunately, this fundamental tenet of logical positivism belongs to the family of statements that it asserts to be meaningless. As a result, the entire edifice of logical positivism vanishes in a puff of logic. This insight appears not to have occurred to the logical positivist school of philosophers.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
