Pseudo profound poetry or quote style writing that sounds emotionally deep at first glance, but collapses into tautology, or aestheticized banality upon reflection. A blend of “pop poetry” and the German word Po (“ass”), implying poetry that is simultaneously pretentious and intellectually hollow.

Action of acting like a poody, gloomy, depressed, or just shitty.

Man 1: "This day is just terrible. I want it to end."

Man 2: "What's this poopetry? You're never sad!"

Guy A: "Have you talked to Dave lately?"

Guy B: "No, why?"

Guy A: "He's been really depressed lately."

Guy B: "What's this poopetry?"
