white-girl politik

Can also be written as “whitegirlpolitik” or “white girl politik” this term is an offshoot of Nixon’s infamous realpolitik.

White-girl politik is defined as (usually liberal or faux-leftist) slacktivists combining their white savior complex and self-serving tendencies to push their political ideologies. They get their news and information from other slacktivists on twitter and act as if signing petitions, sharing posts to their stories, and starting arguments online will actually promote change. Will claim they are “leftists,” “anarchists” and/or “communists” without having a clue about any of the basic principles of any.

Person 1: I just got flamed by another diluted slacktivist.

Person 2: That’s white-girl politik for you. She’ll grow out of it once she finds out she can’t get a job by sharing petitions.

Politically Active

At its best it means interested in politics and government; trying to make a changes in public policy, laws or the government working to get an official elected, or lobbying to have legislation passed, collecting petition signatures. It can also mean a person trying to change things for their own benefit, to gain status or power in the workplace. It can also mean someone who is a nuisance, constantly wanting to change things and who interferes in matters that are none of their concern. At its worst it means a total fuckwit like Russell Brand a self-styled activist for whom politically active means espousing views that the majority of people find repugnant or ridiculous.

Some people are politically active because they have nothing else in their lives.
