Words you can keep

fast food politics

n. The scandals, plots, intrigues, and gossip that often infuse the work environment of a fast food restaurant.
Jose: "That coworker is the fourth chick Jacob has banged in this restaurant. These people have no shame."

Joe: "This is typical fast food politics."

Jose: "Did Hunter just snitch on others and cause a nervous breakdown at this store?"

Joe: "Yeah, he stirred things up by going back and forth between people, and everyone is stewing over this fake drama. He may just want more hours by tattling and throwing others under the bus by exaggerating things. It's typical fast food politics."

Politicians

1) The REAL, most dangerous gang in the United States. Will do anything to get anything, regardless if they're unsure if they really even want it, so long as they anticipate some sort of prestigious accolade, or better yet, money, as a result.

-

2) Magicians. Take exceedingly increasing amounts of money from citizens annually and not only make it disappear, but manage to create black holes and fluctuations in the entire space-time continuum with it (see national debt clock).
The politicians came to these projects about 4 years back. all of the other gangs quickly left. remaining residents immediately became too poor to eat and died.

-

..how come all of that money is literally nowhere?

American Politics

While the definition of politics states, "the art or science concerned with guiding or influencing governmental policy, m-w.com", American Politics is where elected officials debate unrealistic and unreasonable proposals in order to pander to their base and get re-elected.
American Politics is why that gay marriage amendment has no chance in hell of being ratified.

Because of the intricacies (difficult to resolve or analyze, m-w.com) of American Politics, democrats are responding to that bullshit proposal with a rediculously short pull-out deadline.

respectability politics

Refers to attempts by marginalized groups to police their own members and show their social values as being continuous and compatible with mainstream values rather than challenging the mainstream for its failure to accept difference.
Person 1: If black people get an education, pull up their pants, and stop committing crimes, then they will never have to worry about negative encounters with the police.

Person 2: Please can that respectability politics mess. James Blake went to Harvard, was a star athlete, and never committed a crime, but that didn't prevent an officer in the NYPD from tackling and body slamming him to the ground.

Politics

The art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedies

republicans suck
democrats suck
