The act of endlessly swiping through newly launched meme coins on pump.fun (or similar launchpads) in search of the next 100x, convinced that this particular form of mindless scrolling is an investment strategy instead of a gambling addiction with a feed.

Unlike doomscrolling, which just makes you miserable, pumpscrolling makes you miserable and poorer — until it doesn’t, at which point you become insufferable.

I said I was going to bed at 11. It’s 4:17 a.m. and I’ve been pumpscrolling for six hours. I now own 14 coins named after animals doing crimes.
