The man cave originates from the word man, which is us, and cave, which is an opening used as a dwelling in ancient times.

Mancing is a man dancing by himself. This often occurs at home when no one else is around. Most mancing will involve wearing just underwear and socks but not necessarily limited to just undergarments. It is completely possible for mancing to occur in public and anywhere.

Marc: I love it when Tom Cruise starts mancing in Risky Business.
Zach: That's the only reason to watch that movie!

Manvaning

Man-vaning;

The same as caravaning, but the people present are strictly all male, hence the name man-van.

Man-vanning was originally created because girls ruined the overall fun of the night,
you cannot discuss such things as;
-Having sexual intercourse with chicken pasties.
-Amy's breast.
-Physics.
-Masterbation.
-Sing-a-longs.
-The rating of girls in your school/6th form/college.
-Ridiculing of those who we dislike.
-General aggression and piss taking.

but mostly performing horrific male antics.

The experience is overall more fun when girls are taken out of the equation.

This also can irradicate the danger of cheating if one of the males is in a relationship

As getting drunk with girls present if you are in a relationship, does not bode well.

"Hey fancying having a sausage fest this weekend?"
"Yeh sure, how about a bit of manvaning"
"Sounds good"

Mangiving

Observed on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and originated in 2007 in Bucktown, Chicago, Mangiving is a day for men of all walks of life to gather, feast, watch football, drink beer, and present Man awards for the past year. Mangiving starts at noon with the National Anthem followed by a ceremony including awards such as Man of the Year, Man move of the year, MLV of the year, and Half man of the year. Participants in Mangiving vote on the winners (or losers) for these awards during the weeks leading up to Mangiving. Each participant is also required to have a man name (i.e. Manbear, Manwood, Manshanks) as well as bring a dish to the feast. First time attendees of Mangiving are not allowed to participate in the vote. Only veterans may vote.

I am really looking forward to Mangiving, but I am nervous because I was nominated for MLV of the year for being caught watching The Notebook earlier this year. I hope someone did worse or I will win the award.

Mangiving is going to be so bad ass this year. I am bringing a broccoli cheese casserole to the feast along with a case of Bud Heavy.
