Oozin' machismo

Acting excessively hyper-masculine, derived from the way that bull Elephants secrete a thick smelly liquid(or machismo) when they undergo "Musth" (or Elephant-anarchy) and berzerker-rage on anything that moves including other Elephants,Rhinos and Humans.
Meant to be used in a mocking context.

Person 1: Check out that guy with the Skoal wife-beater, puffin' his chest out and trying to look tough.
Person 2: Oozin' machismo.
Both People: WAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!1

Machismo

Spanish word. I don't think there's a direct english word translation.

1. Having an unusually high or exaggerated sense of masculinity. Including an attitude that aggression, strength, sexual prowess, power and control is the measure of someone's manliness. Also, a machismo man feels having these traits entitles him to respect and obedience from men and women around him.

2. The belief in the right to dominate and control, including, but not limited to, control over women.

He thinks that because he can shoot his mouth off and act machismo that I'm impressed and that she'll just bow down and do whatever he says.

Wow, Dave a guy's guy. but Steve takes it to another level. he's machismo.

Machismo

Hispanic-Mexican slang - The word machismo ultimately boils down to a man who is beating his chest behaving as brash and arrogant as possible while really coming off as a cocky jerk of limited manners. This kind of man is not revered by women with a high IQ. It can be used as an indirect way to delivery a back-handed complement (double meaning) to a self absorbed man-boy who doesn't understand the current accepted meaning of the word (jerk) and doesn't want to believe he is not a nice guy, but is really just a jerk.

1. The supervisor's demeaning rudeness was unbelievable. After he left the office, one of the girls stupidly tried to defend him by saying that's just his machismo talking - he didn't mean it.

2. "Wow, He thinks machismo is a complement - but he doesn't understand that it means he's a jerk."

Machisme

Chicago area Chicano slang. Roughly translated into English, it means "locker room talk." It's a combination of "machismo" which means "a strong or exaggerated sense of masculinity" and "chisme" which means "gossip."

It can also mean "male bonding."

I overheard some machisme about ole girl yesterday. She's a real freak!!

Let's meet up this weekend for a few beers and some "machisme."
