My lyricitis drives people crazy because I really think the my version of the lyrics to a song are accurate.

Chronic Lyricosis

A condition that effects victims by making them think they know the lyrics to popular songs, completely unaware, that they are completely clueless.

A: *sings the lyrics “bring me a higher love from “Higher Love” by Steve Winwood, as “bring me an iron lung”.
B: I’m really worried that you might have Chronic Lyricosis.
A: Why, what makes you say that? I’m singing it correctly aren’t I?

lyricosis

The combining of two words:

lyric: "having a pleasing succession of sounds"

AND
-osis: "a disorder or abnormal state"
to mean when a person is singing and doesn't know or forgets the words to a song so they proceed to make up sounds and grunts to cover the fact that they sound like an idiot.

My sister and I got drunk last night and were singing Billy Jean loudly when I realized the bitch was suffering from lyricosis, she had no idea what the words were.

I love laughing at that dude that always sings for Karaoke even though he has such a severe case of lyricosis.

I don't care if I don't know the words to the song, a little lyricosis usually hides the mistakes.

A cwalk term used when somebody rides the lyrics of a song as opposed to riding a beat.

In Viet Jr's Live From The Kitchen video he is slated for beatriding, but he is lyriciding
