Thug Lyfe

A sarcastic way of spelling "Thug Life". Typically used to describe a situation, life, or event that is not really "gangsta" or hardcore, but still crosses some sort of line, like removing a "Do Not Remove" tag on a piece of furniture. It can also be used to describe someone who thinks that their life is hard/fucked up, but is really just ignorant to the fact that they don't meet the definition of a thug.

1. Bill: "Wht u doin"
John: "Textin while driving yo, livin da thug life xD"

2. (Jonny's Facebook status): "I H8 MY MOMMY!!!1111 SHE JUST BAWT ME DA WRONG BRAND OF SOCKS >:( mY LIFE SUCKZ"
Bob's comment: "Thug Lyfe"

H8 Lyfe

1) The birds aren't chirping. The sun doesn't shine. Your life basically sucks ass.

2) Stephen Gomez. A.K.A. h8 lyfe gomez.

1) "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck" said layla.

"What?" Replied Dom with concern on his face.

"I missed the new skins episode." A frown planted firmly on her face. "H8 Lyfe"

2) "Hey look Stephen Gomez has got his H8 Lyfe face on" The fan girls squealed.

All of a sudden Stephen smiles and puts down his bass, walks up to Brian's microphone and says "Sometimes I luv lyfe"

lyfe

LYFE is spelled with a "y" because the normal word "life" is so mundane and meaningless. for example, "i hate life." that statement is nowhere near as powerful as "i hate lyfe" because the "y" allows us to question... "WHY?" y does lyfe exist? y do i hate lyfe? y does LYFE suck/pwn so much?

Sometimes you can have a Freudian slip and just randomly let out a loud sigh in the middle of class: "LYFE." that word alone with the presence of the "y" speaks a thousand words.

Alan: when i tried to learn japanese, draw manga, or write a "book," I always get discouraged in the end because it takes a lot of time and dedication without immediate results.. LYFE is full of discouragement, so you just gotta pinpoint the most important things and DO them, or else you end up with countless unfinished projects...

Brian: haha. I suppose we're just succumbing to human propensities then.. Just curious, why did you spell "life" with a "y"?

A creative version of the word life, created by the marvelous Lauren. A play on the word life with an accented E. Life-E or Life-Ey is a lame spelling and lyfee more accurately portrays the sound of the word when said in excitement or frustration.
