Bertie Beaver: Gosh, now I have gone all vegan how I will I replace my trusted personal cavity friends?

Cecile Snatch: BB, try my Lentildo - its great - you can charge it whilst cycling. Strictly no meat in any of my orifices

Van Lente Rape

Van Lente Rape refers to when a character in fiction is raped. Said rape is later retconned to either not haviing been rape, or said rape being consensual. Gets it name when writer Fred Van Lent wrote a rape scene into The Amazing Spider-Man #605, and then due to backlash came out and said there was no rape, just some kissing on the kitchen floor.
Michelle Gonzales wasn't rape raped by the Chameleon, she was Van Lente raped by the Chameleon.

Festina lente

Make haste slowly.

To do things the proper way instead of hurriedly and heedlessly; to see urgent things through in a thorough manner.
Translated from Latin to English, 'festina lente' means literally 'make haste slowly'; this translation also sounds a lot better than 'hurry slowly'.
