The word laid back has been used a lot in New Zealand. Many Kiwis call themselves are laid back. But I just call it lazy. The main reason they are laid back is they are too fat to move.

Laid back kind of guy

A term used to describe unoriginal North American guys on internet dating web sites.

These guys are probably very nice people, but they don't bring much to the table, as the most interesting way they describe themselves is:

"I'm a laid back kind of guy who likes music, movies, and hanging out with friends."

A laid back kind of guy usually knows the fundamentals of acoustic guitar, loves Dave Matthews Band, and went backpacking in Europe to have sex.
He's cute, but he looks like a laid back kind of guy. He'll probably play Wonderwall on his acoustic to impress me.

laid-back

He is so laid-back for a security guard.
