Her chess games to foreshadowed the palace invasion, which was a metaphor for her carrying the arc on her shoulders. Somehow, her romance with a turtle was one of the saddest anime death's of all time, with them holding hands even after death. Sadly, she died with a clogged nose because bug boy never gave her a kleenex.
