Jive Turkey Nomenclature 

Abbreviated JTN...A false or disingenuous person has been effectively ridiculed by being called a Jive Turkey in a public forum, resulting in other parties threatening that similar wording may be used against others not involved with the origin of the initial transgression. JTN is also used in general reference to anything that is viewed as pompous or arrogant. The term is thought to originate in the Southeastern region of the US.

"Just so you know I could have made a big stink out of this and invoked Jive Turkey nomenclature".

Jive Turkey 

Jive Turkey was a derogatory slang word in African American Vernacular English (Ebonics), used to refer to someone who was unreliable, made empty promises, or who was full of bluster. Several funk groups in the late 1960s and 1970s used the term, particularly the Ohio Players in songs such as "Jive Turkey" on the album Skin Tight from 1974. The insult became widely known in the 1980s, particularly via television comedies (e.g., The Jeffersons). The term has been used by later television characters (e.g., Homer Simpson) in order to demonstrate that they are out of touch with modern youth trends, culture, and language. The term was also used in the film Semi-Pro starring Will Ferrell and in Weird Science starring Kelly LeBrock 1985. "Jive turkey" also garnered attention in the movie Trading Places. Jive turkey, however, was already falling into disuse when it was spoken by "hip" television characters in the 1970s, such as George Jefferson. Jive turkey is also a quick step dance in Germany in the 1930s.

Jive Turkey 

A person that talks as if they know something they do not. A liar. Someone who constantly reminds you of how awesome they are but they are the opposite of awesome.

Jive turkey- "I'm so awesome, you'll never meet anyone as awesome as me..like ever"

Me- "shut yo mouth....fuckin jive turkey"

This phrase, most commonly used as an insult to call out an oppositional party, was popular in the 70's for its dissuasive finesse.
NOTE: To amplify power, use in conjunction with snapping and elaborate gestures.
