Don't call me that in public.

The automatic response when somebody says "Jesus Christ!" in exasperation. It implies that the person thinks you are divine compared to their sorry ass. There is also an undercurrent of blatant self-promotion, in that it's fine for them to call you the Lord behind closed doors, but you don't want them embarrassing themselves in public. This usually pisses them off, but it stops them from whining.

It can also be used when someone yells, "Jesus!" "God" or some related phrase.

Does not necessarily need to be used in public.
Mary: "eh my God, it is soooo hot outside. Jesus Christ!"
You: "Don't call me that in public."
Mary: "What?"
You: "You heard me."
Mary: "What?"
You (patronizing): "Shhhh..."

Voices in Public (VIP)

A late 1990's boy band from Canada, known for their less than appealing (fugly) looks, poorly written sub par songs, minimal vocal range and bad fashion. They forced their way onto an audience that wasn't ready to accept them and then they faded away, broke and obscure and still as fugly as ever.
Hey look at that boy band wannabe guy, he's about as fugly as those guys from Voices in Public (VIP).

beating yourself in public

To post competing defs on Urban Dictionary and watch them "battle it out" before everyone's eyes.
King Kong, why did you pull a Nantucket Surprise by beating yourself in public?

QTIP (Quick Touch in Public)

An ass or boob grab of a significant other or close companion, which happens so quickly that knowledge of the incident is exclusive to the two parties involved. As such, a QTIP cannot be classified as PDA.

Note that it is acceptable to yell aloud "QTIP!" and then proceed to initiate a QTIP. Also note that it is not acceptable to QTIP a complete stranger.
"Ugh, I really want to make out with you right now, but you know I don't like PDA"
"How about a QTIP (Quick Touch in Public)?"

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
