a corrupt version of 'heavy' used by a select few, the word is often associated with the 'lord of the trolleys' videos and creators. First established in late 2003 the method of speaking distorts a number of words for comic value.

Hoovy

A friendly player in team fortress 2 playing as the heavy class. normally gives out health pickups called sandviches to the teams, and generally cool guys. these players, when provoked, I.E killed, attacked, ect., will hunt down who killed them and generally target them for the rest of the match. hoovies are like walking dispensers, as they give out healing items, and will generally be friendly to anyone and everyone. their mortal enemy is the tryhard, who kills friendlies no matter what.

A Hoovy is a player that typically spends most of their time on TF2. They usually play the Heavy class. They are passive creatures that will throw sandwiches at you if you need help. They are harmless and can found roaming through any open areas within the game.
