When a groupchat splits off into a smaller groupchat, excluding members that are problematic or no longer part of the friend group. More discrete than straight-up removing someone.
I knew Ben would be mad and confront us if we removed him from the groupchat, so we had a groupchat mitosis!

every friend group has a groupchat with just the girls where they talk about anything and everything. lots of tea is spilled here along with dumb stories and inside jokes. if you’re a guy you DO NOT want to be talked about in the girls groupchat.
