Similar to being “catfished,” a person gets “goldfished” when...the person they’ve been talking to via “online” etc is, indeed, the right person, they just promised everything in the world, gold, glitter and diamonds, and after meeting....they brought nothing but empty promises.

“We been chattin’ online these last 8 months, he promised me that he’d treat me like a queen. Now that we’ve met, he been nothin’ but jealous and controlling.”

Goldfished 

When the person getting Catfished happens to be a Notre Dame Fighting Irish football player or is highly associated to Notre Dame.

Notre Dame coaches were informed by Manti Te’o and his parents that Manti had been the victim of what appears to be a hoax in which someone using the fictitious name Lennay Kekua apparently ingratiated herself with Manti and then conspired with others to lead him to believe she had tragically died of leukemia utilizing social media like Facebook. When asked to comment, Manti, stated. Damn, I got Goldfished!

Goldfished 

refers to instantly forgetting something regardless of importance.
compares to how a goldfish changes direction in water suddenly for no apparent reason.

Blondes are the most susceptible to this.

1.) getting into your car and leaving a coffee and briefcase on the roof and driving away.

2.) leaving the bathroom after a shower in the morning and pouring a bowl of cereal naked.

someone sitting at the breakfast nook: "Why are you eating cereal naked?"

moving the bowl of cereal below waist and shrugging shoulders: "I must of goldfished."

Goldfish Fight Club 

A game created in 2016, where a student, in class on Friday, takes two goldfish crackers and squeeze sthem together to make them "fight". Whichever one breaks is the loser and thrown into a pile of crumbs, while the winner moves on to the next match. Once a clear winner is found out of the entire bag of goldfish, then he or she gets to take on the champ for an epic battle royale. During the final match, the official match theme of "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes must play, and if a winner is crowned, the champ will rest for the week in a zip lock bag stapled to the wall. Never speak of this information out loud to any other student in school......because the first rule of Goldfish Fight Club, is that you don't talk about Goldfish Fight Club.

Parker ignored Mr. Keith's lesson in class on Friday, because it was an intense day for Goldfish Fight Club, and she wanted to see if someone could challenge the champ.
