An expletive term showing disdain towards an object or situation.
Routes: Gashcard is made up of the two English language words 'gash' and 'card'. Whilst gash can innocently mean a lasceration to a body part (such as can be obtained by placing your finger on a broken mirror in a nightclub) in this context it refers to the 'feminine area' between a ladies legs. The word card may refer to a folded piece of processed tree mash popularly distributed on occasions such as birthdays, christenings and the winter solstice.

Concerns were also voiced as to whether the 'gashcard' machine may one day gain artificial intelligence and the project was scrapped due to fear that the 'robopussy' (slang) may one day become the worlds dominant race.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
