freeter 

an adult, though no longer a student, who does not have full-time employment and all the benefits that comes with it. Instead, a freeter chooses to work part-time or hold down odd jobs, even while full time employment is available.

Being a freeter means having more flexibility and freedom than someone with a permanent job. Freeters usually do not earn enough money to have their own home, so they often stay at home with their parents indefinitely, or else rent rooms in others' homes.

In today's economy, it's hard to know if a part-time employee is a freeloader or freeter, or is simply struggling to survive.

The condition of having left or abandoned someone or someplace, often abruptly, and usually when a certain level, excessively high level, of inebriation has been achieved. Always without indication of intent and the action is never noticed until some time later. The word hails origin from its greatest proponent and practitioner, Charles of the same last name.

2. (noun) a reuse organistion, originating from the UK, where people can offer things they no longer want and ask for things they need on the Yahoo! Groups platform

2. Freegle is a major UK reuse organisation, run on cooperative principles.

1. (verb) To search for free goods on the internet.

2. (verb) To offer unwanted possessions on the internet for free, as opposed to selling them.

A composite of free and google, also has connotations of frugal.

1. When my coffee-maker finally gave up its ghost, I freegled for a replacement.
2. When we moved house, we freegled lots of unwanted stuff that had accumulated over the years.

freeter 

A freeter in Japanese means someone in their 20's who is moving from job to job, mainly part time jobs which pay small wages. There are 3 types of freeters, ones who are seeking their dream careers thus doing these odd jobs, those who refuse to become 'wage slaves', and mostly those who have no choice.
