The part of the hair which is not quite a 'sideburn' but very distinct from ones hair. The hair that sometimes covers and/or sits beside ones ear.

JOHNNY: "you have a frangus? i dont remember you having one. actually... you do have a slight frangus"

ME: "yeah I have one. Ive always had hair where my frangus comes out over my sideburns"
