Finchley Breakfast

On reflection, he realised the he had made a real 'Finchley Breakfast' of what should have been a very simple Saturday morning task. He wrote to all his friends and family to apologise and went to think long and hard about what he had done.

Finchley Burn

An excuse to jap slap somebody.
Offer them a finchley burn, which they will assume is like a chinese burn. When they hold out their arm, thinking it will be relatively painless, punch them in the groin.
Named after the ghetto of Finchley from which it originates.

"Apparently, a finchley burn is nothing more than a punch to the gonads."
"That was one harsh finchley burn!"

Finchley Road Sprint

The act of sprinting across the platform as soon as the doors of your train open in order to get onto the train on the opposite side of the platform before it's doors close. Named after Finchley Road underground station in London, UK, where the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines are on either side of the platform.

Sorry I'm late, had to do a Finchley Road Sprint but I didn't make it to the other side so I had to wait for another one.

An over weight, middle aged women or man that has little to no self confidence. They often divert to their cell phone or smart watch when they feel threatened and may or may not duct tape their breasts to hide sexual identity. Please note that these individuals are extremely self conscious and if your make any remarks about there outward appearance they with reach/touch mentioned area repeatedly (at most when they think you are not looking.)

Jack- "Did you see that finchey that works for the county?"

Jill- "Yeah was that a guy or ....?"

a kind and funny person but is a little abusive at times. theyll always be there for you but they have a really dirty mind, and they wont be able to take you seriously in a serious conversation. but theyll always make sure ur smiling no matter what state your in.
