people often like to headcanon their possible interactions in the near by future, wanderer being a puppet and faruzan being a master mechanic gave a lot of the shippers ideas on faruzan getting curious about wanderer and how he functions with the possibility of understanding him due to their similar experiences.
Their dynamic is certainly considered “rivals to lovers” due to them being in sumeru’s akademiya, their darshans having some connections with each other and often overlapping in topics which make the shippers speculate that they perhaps had some interactions off screen.
