Fartens is always plural noun. It describes those tiny, delicate farts that are rarely heard or smelled by others, but which make you smile.

Today, I experienced fartens in the elevator and was so glad I was alone.

I smiled as my fartens were expelled as I sang in the choir.

An alternative word for people who are supposed to work "Four Tens" (Four 10 hour days per week) but actually do not.

Such as instead of working four ten hour days they show up at 10 and leave at 4.

Theresa is working fortens this week, it's noon and she isn't here yet.
