A fakeation is a fake vacation, where you turn on your email autoresponder and change your outgoing voicemail message to show that you're out of the office. Really, though, you're in the office, catching up on work.

when you agree to the terms of a relationship with a partner for gain while still looking for a real relationship For example when a man tells a woman he wants to be in a relationship with her because that's the only way she will have sex with him. He fakes being in a relationship when really he is trying to be with other women. He fakes commitment so the sex won't make her fee like she is a booty call. This is a step up from friends with benefits
