A not-commonly-known-about entity dat can only be seen by folks who "know da code".

Elliott tells his little sister Gertie dat, "Grown-ups can't see E.T. --- only little kids can see him." Gertie thinks dat said "Our space-man friend is an encryptid" assertion is just a bunch of hogwash, however.
