The word used to describe a person that has eaten so much they ballooned into obesity and screwed their pancreas over so they got diabetes.

A real problem. As one gets older, the body's ability to metabolize excess body sugars is less active, causing sugar-source fat (called 'toxic sugar'), to start building around the midriff area, that ultimately expands from too much fat stored in that region (known to all men as beer belly, beer gut, beer belt, spare tire, ...) which is by the way, very hard to get rid of as this is the body's own 'fugitive fat' that signals the onset of insulin-resistant diabetes-II. Diabetic obesity and the drugs used to control diabetes have become the windfall for big pharma in the early 2020s.
I guess that diabesity thing is real, the ads are all over the place featuring fat people dancing and celebrating.
