deadend friend

A friend that over the years you have become attached to for unknown reasons. It is usually someone you have invested a lot of time and money in, all in good fun, for a while. They always let you down but you can't seem to stop hanging with them or helping them. They are typically low lifers who take what they can get from anyone and leave everyone thinking they're a good friend, until they're gone.
"i thought debbie was gonna be there for me, turns out she's just my deadend friend."
"why bother go pick debbie up for the party? she's just a deadend friend."

Draden is fun, loving and logical. He loves making people laugh, he can lighten anyone's mood with a few words or gestures.

Draden loves to feel loved and truly enjoys showing his love for his girl. He is easily entangled in what he wants. At times a bit too much as it causes immense heartache when things go south. He's a very loyal guy that will go through anything for you with you by his side.

There's a straight side to what he's willing to learn no ridges around it. He does not want to hear so much about your idea of the unknown. It is what it is and he's good with that. Very sweet, kind, loving guy!!!

Deadender

A moviegoer who stays till the very end, through the credits. Motivation for such behavior includes the chance of a post-credits scene, paying respect to the many creators of the film, avoiding the crowd at the exit, waiting for one's skin and eyes to recover from a lacrymal profusion, pointing out unique names in the credits, enjoying the music, or just appreciating the dark.
"Just to warn you," she said, settling into her red velvet seat, "I'm a deadender."
"That's okay," he responded, reaching over and taking a handful of popcorn, "so am I."
