Craigslist

A website that makes people inherently dumber. Used as a way to post advertisements for the selling of items and services, it is now overrun with the stupid. Any description of an item is completely ignored, and subsequent idiotic questioning follows. In the off-chance that someone actually gets to the point of making an offer for an item, any listed price is ignored and a low-ball offer is made. A trade may also be offered, whether or not this has been mentioned as an alternative to cash payment. The idiocy is not entirely limited to the buyer, as there are many occasions where a seller is contacted and then has no idea what they are selling. Because there are so many stupid people on Craigslist, many scams have been set up to take advantage of this. There are multiple types of schemes in place to try to take these people's money, often successfully. Despite Craigslist's best efforts and numerous warnings against these scams, most users are often too dense to realize that they are about to be financially raped, and possibly physically as well as there are many listings for sexual encounters.
Buyer: "Yo you got that gixxer for sale on Craigslist bro?"
Seller: "It's not a Suzuki GSX-R, it's a Honda CBR1000. Yes I'm still selling it for $5,500."
Buyer: "Alright yo, so you'll take $2000 then?"
Seller: "No."
Buyer: "What about a set of Bridgestone tires?"
Seller: "No."

Example 2

Buyer: "Hi I'm calling about the motorcycle you have listed on Craigslist. Is it still for sale?"
Seller: "What motorcycle?"
Buyer: "You have a 2007 Suzuki listed for $4800 on Craigslist. Is it still for sale or is it sold?"
Seller: "......."
Buyer: "So you didn't list a 2007 Suzuki for $4800?"
Seller: "Oh yeah yeah yeah my bad bro. Nah it's sold."

Craigslist Liar

One who gives misleading information about his intentions with a seller. The craigslist liar is known to promise a meeting time and never show. The craigslist liar is generally characterized by over-enthusiam about an item he claims he wants to buy accompanied by repeated texts about his intentions. The craigslist liar is almost always a potential buyer. In the end the seller gets one broke off in him and he's left high and dry.
Dale and the craigslist liar...

Dale got stood up three times last week,
That craigslist liar broke him over and had his way with him, in the end, dale felt used and violated.

Craigslist Slut

A woman or man who frequents the Casual Encounters section of Craigslist in search of partners for casual sex. Some Craigslist Sluts never divulge their real name.
Liz was the first woman who ever replied to a CL posting of mine (in September, 2004), as I heard from her from time to time, over the years, I realized she was a genuine Craigslist Slut but it would be years before we ever made a connection because I was always never quick enough to emaiul her back when she would reply to my ad. Last week, I posted, I heard from her, I gave a different name, we exchanged photos, and before I knew it, without even speaking to me on the phone, she'd given me her address and told me to come over and have my way with her.

Craigslist anxiety

The overwhelming feeling of panic you get just before meeting someone (possibly a serial killer) from Craigslist to buy or sell goods.

Craigslist anxiety causes you to wonder why you play Russian Roulette with your life to buy a discounted pair of speakers or sell something that probably should have been chucked in the garbage.
I just had the worst case of Craigslist anxiety, but I lived and scored the cheapest copy of Rosetta Stone ever!

Craigslist Idiot

A person who posts ads on Craigslist who have no idea what their items are worth. They start with an absurdly high price hoping that someone as dim witted as they are will pay it. Often uses incorrect grammar and a bevy of misspellings in their ads.
This Craigslist Idiot wants $1000 for a blender. What a moron.

craigslumming

Using craigslists personal ads to chase girls several rungs down the social ladder. Guys typically go craigslumming while out of town on a business trip. If one's willing to set his sights low, craigslumming can improve his odds tremendously.
Recently divorced, I had a weekend stay over in Houston. Bored and horney, I trolled craigslist ads, and found some craigslist girls. - the usual 60 pound overweight, lonely, depressed chics. I brought one to an Astros game, and expensed a dinner for both of us at an Outback Steakhouse. Thanks to craigslumming, I was able to close an ice-house with her, get laid, crash at her Cannelview (seedy suburb) dive apartment - a craigslumming success.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
