The condition that new couples often exhibit in relation to friendships. This often includes canceling plans, ditching early, not drinking, etc. Often, it gets blamed on the new person, though the friend is usually equally at fault for giving in and ditching fun plans with friends.

Boring Couple Syndrome

Boring Couple Syndrome (BCS), also know as Isolationship Syndrome is a terrible condition that can affect couples of of all kinds, with prevalence and severity increasing proportional to the longevity of their relationship.

The condition is caused by the members of the couple no longer feeling the need to go out and socialise or do anything fun, as they are content to just spend time with each other. In time this can manifest itself as BCS. Common symptons include neglecting friends, social activities and anything remotely fun or exciting, coupled with increasingly reclusive behaviour which in turn can lead to a gradual loss of personality and glazed over eyes as they die slowly inside

Single Person: Hey you guys coming to the karaoke night tonight?

Couple: Well hmmm we totally would but, we're just like so tired n stuff and urm it's probably best if we like save our money and stuff as we have soooo many things to do tomorrow, maybe some other time though (or any other generic BS excuse)

New Couple Syndrome 

New Couple Syndrome (NCS) is when a newer couple (1 month dating or less) constantly are talking about each other, being all lovey dovey in public, and being gross in public. This may also include canceling plans with friends to be with the partner, forgetting about friends, and being rude to friends for pointing out NCS.

“Hey did you see Emily cancelled our plans?”
“Yeah she has NCS and left us because of it.”
“What’s NCS?”
“New Couple Syndrome basically she left us for her new boyfriend.”

Any couple that spends their entire life in the 'cute couple' stage and never graduates to anything else. They bore their friends to tears with social media posts about their perfect life and perfect vacations and how much they love their animals but ultimately that's all they have to talk about.
