A skilled and socially adept provider of sexual intimacy, erotic companionship, and sacred healing, particularly when highly compensated and respected, for example in a court or high society setting

Originally meant a female courtier, a woman of a royal or noble court. By the Renaissance, the connotations of the word had acquired that of the mistress or concubine of a king or a noble.

Now it generally means a high-class prostitute whose clients are wealthy men.

musically talented misstress, high class prostitute, extra girlfriend, talented goddess, servant of many talents, owner of her gifts, a woman who a man parades and takes pride in although married , a fair lady hired for business events, a woman sold into entertainment with extreme high ranks, a qualified diva for a worthy man
She was a very talented courtesan hired to entertain a high class range of business men , more suiting than the average escort and very pleasing to those appreciating fine arts of music and dance talents and performances.
