A song co-written and performed by Stevie Wonder. It was originally titled "Oh my Marcia" (Marcia being Stevie Wonders girlfriend at the time) but altered to "My Cherie Amour" since the two broke up. My Cherie Amour is roughly translated from French as "My Dear Love"

A girl that you meet by chance. When you look in her eyes you get totally lost. You quickly find yourself drawn to her without any chance of not totally falling head over heals for her. A Cheriee is forgetful but makes up for it in many other areas. She’s beautiful, sexy, intelligent, captivating and most of all loyal. She would never lie, cheat or steal from you. A cheriee is good at putting herself in you situation and seeing both sides of it. And will agree to an outcome that is mutually beneficial for both parties. Most cheriee’s are quick to learn, relentless, and quickly adapt and overcome. She will steal your heart for eternity so you can only hope she is who she claims to be. Striver
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.
The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. Utility beer is the beer you keep around for the day-to-day moments when beer is a necessity to assist in pedestrian activities (golf, plumbing, yardwork, babysitting, staff meetings, Zoom calls). For the beer snob it is the beer you save for neighbors when they drop in at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday. It is differentiated from the actual high-end beer you save for special events, holidays, and special tastings.
