Chatspeak
Chatspeak, aka netspeak. This is a form of speech in which one shortens words and replaces the letter "s" with the letter "z" in an effort to save time and look cool. Chatspeakers also rarely use capitalization or correct punctuation.
Chatspeakers are generally looked down on by people who can actually spell and who have enough self-respect to type out a real sentence.
Chatspeak can never be considered 'literate.'
Examples:
Boys- Boiz
Girls- girlz, grlz, grrlz, gurlz
Mate- m8
Skater- sk8er
You- u
Are- r
Tonight- 2nite
Because- Bcuz
Et cetera.

Considered by many to be a disgrace to the English language yet by others, a convenient way of symplifying sentences. A method of shortening words devised by countless web- surfers. Chatspeak is a whole language in itself, and new terms are constantly being added to it. Often, symbols are used in chatspeak. Surf Dracula Syndrome
A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.
For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
