A semi-popular car designed by Opel and sold under various brands by GM, including Vauxhall and Holden from 1990-1998. It was somehow overlooked by many markets in favour of close rivals the Toyota Celica and Nissan 180SX, despite its value for money and impressive looks.
Mechanicals were based on an earlier GM model which was apparently known for its tendency to not work very well all the time.
The 2 door coupe was sold with a range of configurations including an 8v and 16v inline 4, 24v V6, and WRX-eating Turbo 4 with AWD.
The calibra is gaining popularity as a second hand car because of the impressive specs of some configurations.

Calibrations

Either an activity that must be done constantly, or something you bring up when you want to subtly tell someone to go fuck themselves.
Shepard: "Hey Garrus, got a minute?"
Garrus: "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."

calibrate

phrase a criticism in a way that keeps you out of trouble
President Obama wishes he had "calibrated" his criticism of the Cambridge Police Department, so that he hadn't come under so much heat for the way he phrased it originally.

CALIBARRIO

21st century term used to describe California because of the mass invasion by Mexican illegals.
California was the place to be back in the day, now its full of trash, stolen shopping carts, strollers, and taquerias. It's time to get out of Calibarrio and move to Airzona.

calibration

1. The proccess of data acquisition (obtained by comparison against standards) able to anticipate the behavior of someting.
2. The data so obtained.
3. The final report or documentation showing such data.
4. The stage in which someting is regarding the level of its calibration knoledge.
Adjustment is not calibration. When we adjust something we change its behavior (usually to move it closer to standards aiming a better performance); when we calibrate we just understand its behavior so that we can compensate or even adjust it.
