(noun) a lenght of time or moment in which two or more close friends find themselves displaying awkward behavior because of some conversation or another. Mainly happens after too much booze, or through text message.

When opening a car door at the same time and on the same side as the person in a car next to you. Then you just pause and wait for eachother to either close it or open it all the way but nobody moves at all causing an awkward situation especially if you don't know the other person.

In a parking lot, you try to get into your car and slightly open the door but at the same time someone is trying to get out of their car on the same side as you and you don't know what to do! door awkwardness...

This is a serious disorder thats most commonly found in insecure teenage girls, who talk alot about how awkward a boy is in there school, but in real life there the ones who are truely awkward. This disorder is an attempt to raise there self esteem and to appear less awkward then they really are.
