A stereotype, (most common in other advanced countries) which stereotypes the majority of America as extremely obese people who do nothing, (and are often unemployed).

"The Average American is a slob who is incapable of doing anything".

An average American is a man or women who lives in the United States collects welfare food stamps and medicaid with no job a 13 inch television extremely stupid acts gangster and no hopes of getting a job giving The United states a bad reputation while every other man works hard and pays for the lazy fat ass men who don' even try to get a job all while the socialists we have in the country protest high taxes and the 1% meanwhile they protest for a socialist government and raising our taxes by costing police millions of dollars in overtime and not many of them even know what they are protesting for all this happening when the 1% run all over the place abusing the middle and lower class workers by collecting millions of dollars and giving workers minimum wage salaries

Average American 

A phrase used, especially online, by those who live outside of the United States of America, to mock Americans anytime they say or post anything that is flat-out stupid or incorrect that is used in many occasions, whether the conversation be about sports or geography.

Look at Jimmy right there. He really tried to say that China borders the United States.

I know, right. He is very much the Average American.

Average American Derangement Syndrome 

The idea that the average American citizen does not know how to take care of him/herself, and must follow, without question, any and all policies of the Obama administration, and anyone who doesn't is a racist. Peaceful protesters are likened to rowdy hordes, individuals who question their representative at a round table discussion are deemed traitors, any person who holds traditional beliefs of any kind is branded a fanatic, and most disgracefully brave war veterans are labeled as extremists.

Some examples of Average American Derangement Syndrome:

-The Democratic National Committee wrote, "Republicans and their allied groups...are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional districts across the country."

-The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, stated, "They (protesters) are carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on healthcare."

-Jennifer Crider, spokesperson for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, stated, "Conservative activists don't want to have a conversation. They want to disrupt."

-Representative Gerry Connolly, a Democrat from Virginia and president of the freshman Democrats in Congress, stated that right-wing groups are moving the healthcare debate to "a dangerous level" by using false facts to create anger. He said, "When you look at the fervor of some of these people who are all being whipped up by the right-wing talking heads on Fox, to me, you're crossing a line. They're inciting people to riot with just total distortions of facts."

An American that believes in Anti-vax, hates other races and is far too patriotic.

Josh: Hey dude, wanna hang out with my cousin?
Dave: Your cousin's The Average Stupid American, no offense.
Josh: Yeah, that's fair. I don't wanna hear about hOw vAcCIneS cAuSe aUTiSm.
Josh: Let's just hang out with Chad.
Dave: Sure, he accepts other races. Doesn't oppose modern medicine, and doesn't think that America is the only country that matters.
