A truly horrible, sad guy who when something goes bad, they go APEFIRE!
One fine day at school, a classroom was open, however, the sub teacher decided to go out into the playground. Reading Shakspeare's, 'As You Like It' he summoned to help the class read. Being designated with many parts, the class stupidly read their parts. To their astonishment, he accepted the classes inability to read despite being year 12 english advanced. giving up on them in anger he threatens: "Don't make me go Apefire!" upon laughter, he walks away and mutters under his breath "fuck this shit!"
He is now known as APEFIRE!!!
Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
