Anti-cool

Something that is so uncool, it is actually rather cool in it's own retro way. This may include wearing non-branded clothing, shoes with velcro, badges and other old-school memorabelia that defies the general opinion of what is actually 'cool'.

Anticool is a way of living. It's all about giving up trying to be seen as cool by other people, and starting to have fun.

Because of it's general defiance of trends, there is no real style for anticool clothing. However, examples of anticool clothing can be found sported by Napolean Dynamite, Todd Rivers and other anticool TV & Film stars.

Person 1 - "Wanna come to my 21st Birthday party at Lazer Quest?"

Person 2 - "Anti-cool!"

Tom complained of heart burn behind his sternum, mostly this occurred after he ate and went away in an hour or so. The pain was accompanied by belching and was worse if he laid down on his back or tried to do heavy work right after he ate. The pain sometimes radiated to his back, jaw or shoulder (like angina pectoris). An X-ray revealed a small portion of the stomach above the diaphragm and an endoscopic biopsy revealed mucosal inflammation. There was decreased lower esophageal sphincter (LES) pressure and pH monitoring showed acid in the esophagus.

His doctor recommended that he avoid smoking, coffee, alcohol and some specific foods including chocolates, whole milk and OJ as well as fatty food. He was told to avoid anticholinergic agents and was treated with a cholinergic agonist (bethanechol) as well as a histamine antagonist (cimetidine).
