That word salad mumbling you do as you're fumbling to switch screens or awkwardly and time-consumingly begin any process on Zoom.

She zoomglished unintelligibly as she tried to pull up the powerpoint video she wanted to see. It started with "Okay, folk, take a look at this, here, it's just right here..wait, gotta close this, hmm, wait, where'd it go? Ah, here it is, nope first have to close this one, mrphgrda...wttheheck...yeah, no, wait....dioedfb...vgrer...adewxawqw... AH, here we go!"

Zhonglish 

(n) The mangled, garbled, butchered, malapropriated or trashed Chinese spoken by native speakers of English.

Pronunciation notes: Similar to Joan-glish. The ZH is NOT pronounced like the S in "fusion" but like the DGE in fudge.

Origin: "zhong" is taken directly from the first syllable of the Mandarin word for Chinese; "lish" is from English, of course.

Usage: Zhonglish is the mirror image of Chinglish but is less likely to be hurled as an insult. It is amusing, not abusing, and is usually applied to learners of Mandarin, although it could conceivably be applied to Wu, Cantonese, or others.

History: "Zhonglish" has been used by learners of Chinese at least since the early 1960s.

Bemused by Kevin's Zhonglish, the Beijinger said kindly, "You speak very well -- it sounds like you're singing a song."

Zoomlighting 

Working on email, phone or generally being distracting while attending a conference call you're meant to be on.

Being found out for emailing one of the conference call participants on a separate matter, while being on the same call.

Janet was zoomlighting during the budget call - she emailed Brian her leave requests while he was making his presentation.

I can't believe you zoomlighted me man! Have some respect, I could hear you talking to Global INC as your mic wasn't muted!

The Mohammedian Arabs Sheikhs have opened many xerro to produce many zoomalis who claim them as fathers.
